It could be argued that VALUATIONS are more extreme now than last year when the economy seemed to be expanding with no end in sight. This move seems to be based on sentiment, and people hoping, praying and wishing the market to bottom. I suppose you could argue that if earnings and sales make a u-turn and head right back up that these prices would be considered fair, but it is speculation, and this speculation is a sure sign to me that we have much furthur to go.....down. I mean INTC and CSCO making less than 2 years ago, yet still being valued higher? Why? Hope? Love?

Geoge which bank will finance you 50% of a house were your net income will be less than 2% ?? I think that NAZ is even in worse shape. Could you convince the banker that your house will appreciate in the future and therefore he should lend you money? .............. after all, housing prices always went up no??????............ but that is done in the stock market, not speaking of WS firms who need only 5% equity.

George, 47-48 seems pretty lofty for the QQQ. I think it stops dead in its tracks at 46, if it gets that high. There is pretty big resistance there.

I'm taking profits if the NDX is up 125 points or more intra-day. Of course, I've got April QQQ 40 calls, so I need to do something soon anyway.

If I get any more calls, they'll be on Thursday, and they'll be of the May variety, and only to cover me on SMH puts I'll most likely buy on Thursday.

GSC: The PE for INTC, CSCO and many of the SEMI's are nearly three times higher now than at the peak of other Bear markets.

Is there any reason why this was/is ignored.?
