Haim:

The marker ANTICIPATES the future. Yesterday's bad news is old hat. If you are going to wait for obvious good news before going long tech, you will be paying MUCH higher prices.

Just like the news was wonderful at the top in March 2000 it is terrible at the bottom a year later.

It seems to me that this market continues to trade based on sentiments and ignores completely fundamentals.>>>>

Haim, yes you were rightly bullish on sentiment a couple of weeks ago.

i think the bears got to complacent, just like the bullz did at the top, this is causing a liquidity trap for shorts and why we are rallying now, that will attract buyers that will add to the frey, just like they were selling good news in march and sept 00, they are buying bad news now, the perma-bears don't believe the market can go up on bad news, just like the perma-bullz don't believe the market can go down on good news - same thing.

will this bad news rally fizzle like the rally of the jan bottom, maybe, probably, depends on the economy, but it will most likely fizzle when everybody is totally convinced the bottom is in and they got on 10% muny in rydex on shorts and they are buying callz like previous tops.
