I was long on AMD, they scored huge profits but the price did not go up for some time. Same here in reverse.>>> pearly, exactly, it's not the news, it's the reaction to the news, they were selling all those glowing reports from tech companies from jan-sept 00, now they are buying bad reports. this has all to do with liquidity at the extremes. if you'll notice anybody bullish here is being punished severly on these threads, just like anybody bearish was punished at 3-4-5000. at minimum we should have a good bear market rally, and if the economy just stalls here, so will the market, but not till all the bears have cried uncle and the bullz are back in the market with gusto. and of course there is always the chance -g-, that this isn't the top and the economy will turnaround from here and again prove the nutcretinous types wrong. nobody can afford a crystal ball that sharpe -g-
