Finally after all these months we really have now the Fed are our side

The unexpected surprise lowering of the short term interest rates by 50 basis points
really took me by surprise. I checked to see how the dow was doing and thought I was
hearing a mistake. It is amazing how those idiots on CNBC say not to fight the Fed but now
they say that the economy must be really bad and perhaps the Fed knows something we do
not know. Give me a break. Since Allan now is on our side I will take him out to dinner
when he come around here (ggg)

I only have a small amount of Philip Morris and was looking at it when it was trading at
20 yielding 10%. Our techs were over the moon back then and all the analysts and investment
advisors thought I would be really stupid to throw out the techs and go with big MO. Well
lets hope that since Uncle AL is lowering the rates, we will see some major improvement
in tech earnings and reward shareholders in this regard. nice news from IBM and Apple after
the bell and the After hours markets are doing quite well. If interest rates are going down
now it does not seem like a good idea to remain in fix income vehicles. Moving back into techs

Later
