Many thought it was the disruption of the downtrend. As you say this is all based on expectations. And in my opinion market expectations are that we bottom (the economy) sometime in the second half and that being said I think we have seen the bottom. As I mentioned in an earlier post if we go straight up from here I will be more skeptical of the move and book some profits.
