Proper allocation and some hedging makes this all a non event.. although if the rally has legs, ill be real upset that Ill have to cover MU and CCMP, both of which will get a reality check real soon.. If we have a sustained rally, ill start building a short in LU again- thanks for the heads up.. LU is trash, and will take years to recover.. any rallies will be met with selling from both shorts and longs who got stock holding that bag.. Yes- your gloating, but nobody expects any less from you.. I doubt this is the 'bulls revenge'.. I like to think of it as 'fools on the sideline that were lucky enough not to get whiped out still want to gamble' :) hey- congrats to you if you made money.. I seriously mean that.. Nobody said this was going to be easy, and alot of us both long and short are learning that these last few months/weeks.. Alot of shorts over allocated looking to add to their huge piles of cash, and sadly most of them will walk away giving it all back.. but all rallies and squeezes aside, the bottom line is CSCO numbers SUCK.. Intels numbers SUCK.. and I seriously doubt the market is going to blast off to 2500 before we see a retest of 17-1800 in the next two weeks.. - hey- in all fairness, im more short than I am long so ill be taking a loss tomorrow if the semis break out.. Ill allocated properly, and in some sick way/shape/form im actually going to be happy if I take the loss.. Alot of calculating and planning went into these short positions, and although I thought I was right- my money management lessons have paid off and ill walk away with mesquito bit loses.. and at 3pm tomorrow ill start planning new courses of action.. Sorta like my CORV position.. If this rally has legs, it should hit 10/12 going into earnings as the street is expecting upside surprise and shorts are under pressure here at $9.... God I wanted MU to collapse so bad.. but since I cant stop a freight train :(
