kash, But you are missing the big picture here. Die cost is irrelevant wether it goes from $20 to $30. I understand that, and I just posted something in that sense to John Fowler, which is that .13u is a lot more important than 300mm. Intel is attempting to put a massive high Mhz production capability to crush AMD. AMD in turn is gonna bet all the marbles on SOI. The risks for both comapnies have just gotten pretty extreme IMHO. It does seem like a duel, rather than a regular business trying to earn some profits. I have been thinking over the last few weeks whether I really want to have my money invested in this sector. Joe
