I didn't follow the pricing on this that well, but got the impression from the CC they could?

This is what Tony heard:

1. Health of product very very good (yields - TV), allowing acceleration of 1.7 GHz intro.

2. Want to get P4 to sweet spot, volumes, to the best selling micro ASAP.

theinquirer.net had a pretty detailed article on pricing. Off the top of my head, I think I remember 25% cuts from the article, but I don't recall where in the curve and am not sure if I'm remembering correctly.

In the CC, they said their price cuts were because they had the goal to get P4 into the sweet spot, and could do this because 1.7 was accelerated.
