I feel exactly the way Steven does about this. If a someone walked across the water to me I would definitely believe them. If a great hairy hand extended from the heavens I would definitely believe it- and what I would believe would depend on what it said to me. I truly have no little voice inside suggesting there is a God. My little voice inside says "Look at all the people who believe in their different Gods. Look how sure they ALL are that they are right. Many of them are sure enough to kill each other over their belief. Can they all be right? Doesn't seem likely." My little voice is a voice of reason. I really can't change my little voice into anything else. I was born like this. I don't think you can understand the way Steven and I are because you are not us. We understand that we are not you. I do not think you are lying because you have found some reason to believe. You are experiencing the world very differently from me. I do not need to call you a liar. I wonder why you need to call Steven one? Or do you do it simply for pleasure? Need? or Pleasure?
