How many recovery rallies will it take to convince you we might be coming out of a bear market not continuing with one? And who makes the rules about these bear and bull markets anyway? No two are the same. We've never seen a 63% drop in a major index happen so fast before. We've never seen an entire sector go from A to Z then back again so fast. Internet hyper-growth and speculation was our only real problem. But those stocks are down a minimum of 90% now, most 95-99% or out of business. What more do you need to convince yourself that we're done selling? Why must a dot.com dog with its market cap in cash down 99% already be going to 100%? Why can't one of the most dominant communications companies in the world VZ be valued at more than 12 PE? Or why is it the biggest micro-processor company in the world INTC is worth only 17 PE? Why is it that that which comes down 60-99% has to keep going down? Is there some rule you know of to back up this thinking? Or is it just because like longs a year ago you shorts got addicted to seeing things only one way and believe only in hypothetical bankrupcies? Why believe in that and who'd want to? This is not politics this is just the ebb and flow of markets. You don't have to be one thing or another all the time. You don't always have to see the glass as half (or more) empty. Big-time recoveries happen. The world changes quickly. You can go with the flow. And the new flow is UP. If you don't believe it yet you are about to be convinced. And it may cost you. Short if the Naz hits 2500. Until then quit listening to the old short gang hype. Who wants to be a member of that club when they all start losing their shirts and just stay in denial? The market is still relatively cheap and low. Only 1950 on the Naz. Three are still plenty of bargains if you move quickly. Make some money on the long side for a change. Life I've said even ultra dog LU will double if you hold it a year or so. So what are you waiting for? Make some money don't insist on losing it like we longs did last year.
