Creative destruction ... The way I look at it, capitalism creates excess compeition within certain parts of the market. The inevitable destruction of profit margins in the short term wipes out the competition that cannot survive. The economic capitalism restores the imbalance as the excess resources seek out new returns elsewhere (or face bankruptcy).
