Do you want to keep your stock?
Do you think that Dell will resist at 28-29 and turn back to 25-26?
How much did you get in the first place?
All these questions color the answer.
You could just roll out to May at the same strike and
bring in about $1.00 to 1.25 if you think that it's going back down near term.
You might be able to roll out a month and up a strike with $0.00 to $0.25 out of pocket. Best bet for long term if you want to keep the stock. The money out of pocket is offset by the gain in net worth of your shares. If you move from 25s to 27.50s and it costs you $0.25 you realize a 10/1 gain on the move. Not to bad.
Or, if you were smart or lucky enough to buy in at $18 or so just let them have the stock and smile.
