"ROFL, obviously you guys have never subscribed to a quote service before...pretty standard stuff. Whats the big deal? Agree and move on..."

HUH! Didn't sign any agreements for TSE, MSE, NYSE, CDNX. But that is not the point. I'm not looking for a quote service. I'm looking for access to my accounts.

TDW is forcing its' clients to agree to this agreement in order to access their accounts. Doesn't matter if they trade NASDAQ stocks or not. Doesn't matter if they want NASDAQ RTQ. They are acting in the best interest of NASDAQ and not their clients.

Maybe be everyone should phone TD's traders for quotes and trades. Keep the employment numbers up for awhile and maybe TD would get the message.

Take Care,
Al

parker_meridian: I DON'T WANT THE FRIGGING REAL TIME QUOTES. TD Waterhouse and the Nasdaq are denying me the right to trade just because I won't sign the agreement.

I have already told TD Waterhouse I don't care if I get Real Time Quotes. I haven't used the REAL TIME QUOTES more than 5 times in 3 years. All I want to do is trade online, which I have been doing quite nicely for 3 years.

But TD Waterhouse wants to force this agreement on me.

I HAVE BEEN TRADING FINE FOR 3 YEARS, and WHAM, suddenly an agreement for a service that I don't even use is being rammed down my throat. I am being locked out of using a service that I have a signed and binding agreement for, and I am being denied what I have paid for.

I have suggested to TD Waterhouse that for those like me who don't care if we get Real Time quotes that they just don't let me get them. I'd be quite happy, I don't need Real Time quotes, and I can still watch my trades AND MY MONEY.

TD Waterhouse has screwed up trades for me before, and by being denied access to my online account, I have no way to verify if the trades are done correctly, if the money I put into my account is being credited properly, and if the proper commissions are being charged.

If you got a legal opinion on the agreement, my friend, you would be truly amazed at how you could get burned. But I know, I know, you think nothing bad will ever happen to you, right? I mean, why would some beaurocracy or big company ever mess with you?

And there are a lot of dead people now wondering why Ford didn't tell them that the tires on their Explorer could explode...
