His mistake was overestimating the intellectual capacity of the audience. That was a fairly obvious mistake, though, when you're among a crowd that can't quite manage the bit to byte conversion factor. On the other hand, the idea posted here that some yaloser lost money because he picked out that one post, read none of the nearly immediate followups, and instead went right to sleep, and lost money by dumping at the next morning bell is just the kind of story that fits in with the local collective intellectual capacity. It's all a joke, just like the company.
