Wise imo. Jumping on the train here jsut doesn't make sense to me. Time to stay in the weeds and wait for the turn.

The SOX breakout is scary. Won't confirm until it passed 657 imo, but it's a bear-scarer.

One more push here and I think it'll be a good crack at shorting. This is based on looking at the waves in the teeny timeframes and, to a lesser extent, S/R.

COMPX at 2024 as I write. I'd like to see a push to that gap are around 2030/35 and then I'd look for the turn. My setup would be a noticeable down move in the small timeframes (i.e., 5min) and then a lower high or double top. I would then try to get on for the middle of the down.

If this giving, which is puny so far, gets going some, then I'll rethink this.

To you long non-clown lurkers: This would be such an excellent time to take something off the table.
