Blake, re: Modeling RDRAM

Looking forward, PS2 is a nit, less than 10% of your model.
The biggest problem in modeling is the validity of the assumptions. For example, what impact does Brookdale have on RDRAM starting Q4'01 and forward? How about Tualatin? What will be the market reception to the various platforms? What will be the relative cost/performance of the various platforms? How will they be positioned? Until the products are established we can only guess. Modeling works best when the environment is stable. IMO, not even Intel is confident of the answers to the questions. My assumptions will be radically different than your's. Pricing is a minor issue, assumptions are the name of the game. Maybe you should get ptnewell to play the game?
