The Fed is unlikely to "set" the direction of markets -- it can only move them in a direction they want to move in anyway -- as we saw earlier this spring or late winter if you prefer -- from Hawaii it is a blur :)

I do not know. I do know the economy is hurting big time. I also believe he should have lowered sooner but I have confidence he knows better than I.
