I like the 4 scenario....for that gets us (maybe) to late Thurs/Fri for the end of up wave....coinciding (within a day) of the turn date....

Also, I like the idea that the market makes one more attempt at the 2110 '90 COMPX Log.....even if it breaks it slightly....I'd think it would be a headfake....I would respect it (and would bail if it kept going), but it wouldn't surprise me if it make a slight tick above (+10 pts?), and then failed for A-B-C...

Also, options ex ending on Friday...I think we'll start to see selling...maybe even starting late Thurs.

The Euro went DOWN of the Fed rate cut...go figure...

I like that SPX shelf; Goran Yodanoff on TradingMarkets mentioned the same shelf yesterday. I think the phrase he used was "if it gets between 1245 and 1255, I'll be shorting with both hands".

Interesting...the NDX is only up about 80 or so from pre-announcement. Hell, it used to do THAT whenever CNBS trotted out Tom Galvin...<G>

I think I am going to have to buy poots today or early tomorrow. The resistance at these levels in all indices is probably too much to break on the first try. Although I don't see why the DOW couldn't go to 10800 on this move.

Smokin!
