Thought I'd seen that somewhere... came from this: Mike is keeping an active interest in journalism, through his new site The Inquirer. This is intended to become a general platform for investigative reporting, but the emphasis at first is on IT news and analysis, because, Mike says, "that's the area I know best". theregister.co.uk LOL, the version on the AMD board is far more illuminating. And also explains one of my favourite Inquirer mottos ('Fanning the flames that fired me'...) - you have noticed the wonderful changing straplines at top-left? I thought the tone seemed to have got a bit kindlier towards the bigger corps recently... I presumed that was because they were more obviously suffering anyway <g>
