The ungrateful viewpoint. . . .

Had he left today alone. . .we would still have had a great day. We opened limit up. . . we raced north. . .with trading curbs. . . .Then by announcing the rate cut today, the markets may have actually moved the LEAST POSSIBLE amount. They can only move so far in a single day.

So if today had been left alone and the rate cut would have come tomorrow. . . we might have seen twice as much of a move. So in an odd sort of way. . . .shorts should be thanking Alan for putting in the rate cut when the markets were at their highest. Unless of course they turned short ahead of the announcement. . . that would be devistating.

Juniper up 24%. . . NEWP up 30%. . .Extreme up 33%. . . Triquint is up nearly 40%. . . BRCM, RFMD, AMCC, DIGL, VTSS, QLGC, PMCS, RIMM, NUFO, EXDS, ELNT, EMLX, SONS, INFY, on and on up well over 20% today. Anyone have the list from last week handy? It would be interesting to see the cumulative effect.

I've got to run out to an appointment. Congrats all.
