3 Ghz is just a random number. Not a prediction. I don't know how high it will scale, only that my main CPU design specialist, Scumbria, said it wasn't maximized for speed as much as it could have been.

Obviously P4 and Athlon will hit 3GHz as process technology advances.

The problem with P4 is that it should be close to 3GHz right now. If you insist on misquoting me, I'm not going to waste my time talking with you anymore.
