I've been telling you that Greenie raised rates to get Bush elected. He knew there was no inflation. Now that Bush is in office and a discreet amount of time has passed he can put rates back where they belong.

jousting at imaginary inflation windmills!

What got me is I remember the ONLY thing I really needed to know was Jack Welch said "I have no pricing power" meaning he could not raise prices no matter how good things looked. People were buying but we wanted it on sale!

My thoughts were the final 50bpt increase at the end tipped the camel over. (mixing metaphores is so much fun)

Just an amazing rally...

Will JJ get credit for being the big analyst to throw the dice and say "I'm upgrading because it can't get any worse?" If nothing else, he sure has a hot hand.

Maybe we take profits in the rally when Dan Niles upgrades and says "I had to lower expectations" that JJ used recently? 8)

Now if the telemarketers would stop calling my "phone I don't answer but use to get credit cards and anything else where they want a phone number" (2nd phone for backup use is almost as cheap as Caller ID and you don't have to waste time looking at the ID#) every 30 minutes then all would be fine in life!
