<<It is strictly forbidden for any nation in the world to have better technology than American>> No, didn't say that at all, just find it hard to believe that as USSR was failing (& Russia whose only concern has been a way to pump IMF money into corrupt pockets since then) they could have funded the best of anything in the world. We all know there is many a faster fighter than in our current stable. My understanding is that the F-16 & F14- Tomcat are both a very sound balance of speed, maneuverability, & weapons package.
