Greenspan cost Saudiis and Arabs a lot of money. The $5 Trillion drop in the market liquidity in the US, plus the $10 Trillion Dollars worldwide and growing, the lion's share lost among the Arab and OPEC investments in the US, Europe and Japan. So why does Greenspan hate the Arabs so much is anyone's guess. The second tier effect is the current change in demand of H1B high tech VISAs, with the technology downturn, there is less of a demand for these talented workers and thus the US will evenually have less development in those countries that were providing US with these tech workers, since they will no longer come here, work for US corporations and then go home with US corporate contacts for future US corporate sales and investment in those countries, perhaps the worse blunder the US could have made ala Greenspan's failed monetary policy. Instead those H1B workers will just stay in their home countries and they will not provide talent nor future inroads by US corporations into their developing markets. So the US is becoming estranged from the Arabs and OPEC in general, the radicals there are gaining ground, and the H1B VISA avante garde class lost will cost the US inroads into developing countries. Makes me wonder if Greenspan's policies have a racial old boys network tone to his underlying prejudiced policy. The thing we all know for sure, Greenspan lied outright to Congress, there never was an inflation threat, which was his excuse for raising rates time and time again starting June 1999 through all of year 2000. Unaccountable. The Federal Reserve needs to cut FOMC rates again, at least another 150 basis points to under 3% in order to even have chance to save this economy from a depression induced by what all now agree is the 2nd Greenspan Recession, that is a long term stagnation due to destroyed consumer confidence as the millions of workers laid off peak this summer, according to classical business cycle rules. I guarantee you that the only winner worldwide from all this is Communist China, I have been pointing this out for 18 months now. The other Communist countries will not gain from this, not even Cuba, nor North Korea, nor Vietnam, nor the former Soviet Union states or Russia itself.....only Communist China. Makes me wonder how far and wide the Communist Chinese lobby has reached into the halls of power in Washington D.C., beyond the Buddist temple-GATE. With 1.3 Billion Communist Chinese and another 1 Billion chinese ex-patriots, being able to allocate moles and spies to places like Little Rock, or for each of our 100 US Senators, or 525 complete Congressional delegations, say nothing of the loyal opposition, and 50 State Governors, plus Puerto Rico, and key provinces in Central and Latin America, what are we taking about, less than 1000 operatives. If you were Communist China and bent on world domination of the peasant class what would you do? What troop movements dothe Communist Chinese not want our EP3E Aries reconnaisance planes to see? Once Taiwan falls, the Philippines will fall, and once the Philippines fall, South Korea and Japan will fall, along with the oil rich Dutch East Indies nations of Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, Sultanate of Brunei, and Singapore. So one has to ask why your local Congressional Representative and US Senators are now taking about only giving Taiwan gunboats, instead of the Aegis Missile and radar defense system to defend itself, oh, they will say because they can deliver the gunboats now but that the Aegis system could not be deleivered for 10 years, well, why then not just let buy Taiwan both, the multi-million dollar gunboats and the billion dollar Aegis system, why the delay? The Dragon breath has soured the air everywhere in Washington DC and we should start asking why. We should ask ourselves why the Bolivian President just announced that to Premier Jiang that the Bolivian revolution, or as he said the Bolivarian Revolution was the precursor to the Chinese Communist Revolution as he applauded the Communist Chinese as being also progress for the poor peasant class. And in the midst of all this, this flavor of communism the Bamboo Curtain and Big Rice Bowl fits in nicely with the "It Takes A Village" idiot crowd, and with Greenspan and his failed policies. If I was of Saudi nobility I would start to panic with every step and path and inroad that Communist China is making in Pakistan and Iran and Iraq and the former soviet union states along the Black Sea, and the Caspian and richest oil fields found there. The Communist Chinese did not shoot their nobility and landed gentry, they beat them to death with sticks in each and every village all across China. If there is a another Great Depression in the US, the technology companies which were beaten down in this last years market crash will surivive, yes that is right, they will lead themselves out of this recession; however, it will be the old industrial and commodity corporations that will languish into stagnation, the less able the business is able to use high technology the more likely they will not recover with the higher technology companies of the rest of the economy. We will be living in the age of the Tale of Two Cities soon enough. But I have only one question, Why does Greenspan hate the Arabs so much, since they are definitely the target of all this?
