I have the same concerns that the way Greenspan operates is to put his banker buddies first. I wonder how many jobs would have been saved if the Fed had not operated in this "secret surprise" mode and just clearly communicated to everyone what its intentions were.

The rate cuts, money supply ramp job, and tax cuts don't encourage people to change their behavior. Besides discouraging real savings, the environment will continue to be destroyed in the name of capitalism.

Stock valuations are independent of earnings now, it only matters how much money the Fed prints.
