<g). Pomp, I need your legal help....counsel.>

As your counsel I advise you to say nothing more. On this thread guilt by silence is only marginally tougher to prove than guilt by admission...but it is still tougher.

PM me where to send my bill.

P.S. Or, tell me the turnips new sceanario for the next few weeks.

zeev,

thanks for clarifying. I guess I would agree that he did cross a fine line by not including a disclaimer in the body of the article, although much more reckless and precarious for himself than for his "victims", and for that very reason (especially in light of his prompt clarification) indicates that his action was not of evil intent. The clamor is certainly greater than the calamity.

I also see what you mean by "establishing a paper trail": see post 70412 by Jack Lang -- first and only post on SI. Rather crude in its blatancy:

I agree that Bilow's article was anything but humor. It has been reported to both the ABA and the SEC.. I hope they take action against him. If you look at the Yahoo Rambus board, post 252573, you will see at least one person who claims to have sold his Rambus based on the article. Further, if you check the after market quotes you'll see that Rambus is up and that person lost money if indeed he did sell. I fail to see any humor in that. Post 152809 was asking for guidance as to whether he should sell based on the article. To apply the credibility of the ABA to one's BS and cause damage to others is not easily forgivable.
