Off Topic, for those looking for buy ideas: Mutual fund top holdings are now available, data as of 3/31/01. AMAT is the top holding now of PIMCO Global Innovation. The manager, Kevin McKechnie has been on-target for months now (nailed it on avoiding the fiber optic/communication chip companies a while back, on MU, even was timely on AMAT). On CNBC MarketWeek Friday he chose BRCM, which implies he thinks it is time to nibble at those scary communication chip stocks.
