Isn't that big of them. They must be true believers in fairness, as long as it trumpets their glories.

You'll never get the sheep at @Home to do anything like that. They're vested. Besides, America was founded on cheating, not on self sacrifice. You can read in any modern history book about how glorious it is to do for the designated needy and make those who don't agree pay for it. What else can you do when you're poor in spirit?

The way you get those above you to take the proper action is always to make them think it is their idea. Come to think of it this is exactly how I get my husband to do things and it is quite possibly the way he gets me to do things but I can't be 100% sure of that because he's crafty.

Underlings are easier. You give them two choices, one is the one they don't want to do but you want them to do and the other "choice" is something that they REALLY don't want to do.

Under no circumstance expect bosses to naturally gravitate to your good idea, especially if it proves that their idea didn't work. The other trick I'd use was to just go ahead and do it and then tell them later that something they said suggested the idea to you, so you had to follow it up with action. You have to be a total subversive in any organization. Either that or stay out of them altogether.
