Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is perfectly reasonable when it's the state VS a citizen. The state has a monopoly on the use of violence and near infinite resources so this standard is necessary to even the playing field (a little). Thank God we have this going for us. It's worth fighting for to maintain it.

It is an unrealistic standard when a citizen is forming opinions about politicians. If it were, then the only appropriate opinion would be no opinion, on any subject. You've got to be skeptical about everything you hear, but it's not unreasonable to weigh the evidence and come to a conclusions.

I personally find Juanita Broadrick's story credible. In my opinion the events of that day happened as she has reported them. But so what? I have no power over Mr. Clinton. And for political purposes it's moot unless or until he attempts to run for another national office.

What do you think about her story?
