I hear you.

I will say, that if there didn't prove to be any difference between corporate types and engineering types, there are differences between organizations.

I did work for many years in an organization that evolved into one of the best team experiences I've ever had. We fought, played, and worked as a team. Even if we didn't always get along, personal feeling were set aside for the good of the team. A lot of great work and lasting friendships emerged from that organization. At the time, I told myself to enjoy it since it was a rare situation. If working in an organization has anything going for it it is the chance to create a whole which is greater than the sum of it's parts.
