Yup, could fail. Picking the top is low odds anyway. Legging into short-exposure on the way up, or, as is more like my style, waiting for the turn to tip its hand hard, are the only choices.

Update:

Well, I have went through all the material for the four time, tonight.
and I see the following transpiring. Just an opinion.

1. Weakness to sideway trading till Friday's Option expiration, April 20, 2001;
2. Drop to 1800 on the NASDAQ next week, Wave B, trade sideways for 5 days till April 27, 2001;
3. No Wave C; the high of this micro market rally will be the high of this week set on Wed, today or Friday;
4. Quick downward thrust to 1250 by May 15, 2001 or sooner.
5. Then we may have a tradeable upward rally.

Futures have been week most of the night at 3:48 a.m.
NASDAQ +14
S&P 500 +2
