The really amazing thing about the action yesterday is that the dollar hardly declined at all. This bubble is much more deeply entrenched than the NAZ bubble ever was. As long as the buck holds, Greenspan will be free to cut to and cut some more.

reminds me of a kid playing, trying to pump up a tire which is full of holes. Odds now favor that it will all end up in a hyperinflationary big bust. imo, the fed has to target gold as well as the dollar now, of all the ridiculous things. Gold will be one of the only sane means to gauge the pressure. As loan loss reserves climb, the fed must pump harder and faster.
