When I look at the life of Theresa I am certainly made aware of where I fall short as a Christian! Did she have compassion for the sick and dying, yes. Did her actions speak louder than her words, yes! Did one tiny little woman make a world of difference in many peoples lives at the expense of her own, yes! Did she pray to God, yes.

On the other hand she believed and lived the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. She believed what they told her about the sacrament. She thought her praying helped those in purgatory when no such place even exists. She believed in praying to the saints which is ludicrous. She no doubt believed in the rosary and other superstitious articles passed down by the popes.

Though I surpass her in theology and understanding certain principles of God she on the other hand greatly surpassed me in love, humility and charity. So who am I to judge her!
