from 04/19 Taiwan's United Daily News
udnnews.com

No time to translate all, snipped as follows:

"Because the performance of DDR chipsets is not as good as expected, Taiwan's mobo
makers decide to delay the production plan of DDR MB. Dram makers may not profit
from DDR this year.
According to the test reports from Taiwan and overseas, neither VIA's nor ALI's DDR
chipsets can outperform the previous PC133 platform."
And more....
Anyway, this article says DDR can't make mainstream this year, maybe next year.
Its scenerio is just like RDRAM in late 1999.
