also FWIW, AMAT RTQ at 54.48... short of a deep downturn tomorrow the original comment that April 50 puts will expire worthless is assured. From experience, my advice is not to play the out-of-the-money option game close to expiry. It's very tempting given the slight time premium, but it's just pernicious what the big boyz can do (and doo-doo) in the options market. They already beat buyers up on the bid/ask, as even a highly liquid issue like AMAT is not immune.

Right now the bid is at .35 for the april 50 put ANQPJ.X but even that is not too 'real' if you tried to dump any real quantity, I suspect.
