Also Cooters, Have you noticed the lack of licensing agreements over the last few weeks?

Thornley says the fees from agreements are recognized when they are signed. Because these agreements flow in unevenly from quarter to quarter, their recognition as far as revenues are concerned, are 'lumpy'.

It wouldn't surprise me that the recognition and/or timing of signings is used as a tool to maximize a quarter if needed, or push out to the next if not.

One possibility anyway. The relative silence on the licensing front this last qrtr may lend weight to your theory.
