Not a rumour.. It was Jacobs or Sulpizio who said that licencing revenue was exceptional and ASIC demand was ahead of their ability to supply. We do not want disappointment, and in all likelyhood (I have to say it that way) we won't get a disappointment.

Knock that off. Shoot your rumors low. We don't want a disappointment with wild guesses.

That's no joke. Back in '98, we had an "earnings guess" contest in the Dell thread every quarter. On average, the estimates were overly optimistic. A later article revealed that these numbers were incorporated into whisper numbers so the contest was discontinued. We did ourselves no favors by guessing high.
