I have always been against MODERATED Threads...

like those run on SI, for example... They're much more restrictive than the iHUB concept, as they allow the originator of the thread to simply DELETE the poster, instead of deleting the occasional post that's out of line...

Yet, these over-censoring boards, designed to shut up the "opposition" altogether, hardly cause the lifting of an eyebrow and are staple diet on SI... For instance, I was "banned" on the A@P thread for saying the TRUTH, namely that A. Elgindy went to Jail for about 4 months for Mail Fraud and Scamming an insurance company...

I appealed the banning to SI Admin to no avail: the thread's originator can apparently do whatever he wants without supervision or check and balances!!!!...

So, how come the much fairer and liberal iHUB model has everyone up in arms, even posters on SI that hypocritically use a moderated thread to bash iHUB?....

Subject 51081

Isn't it more logical to moderate the tone of the posts that are getting out of hand, rather than bodily expelling the posters disliked by the originator??...
