This is ROTF!!!! >>> E-business software company MicroStrategy (MSTR:Nasdaq - news) shot up 85.5% by midday after the company published a letter to shareholders asking for their help in fighting off short-sellers. MicroStrategy acknowledged that it has been hurt by the slump in tech stocks, but maintained that it has unduly suffered by pressure from shorts. The company asked shareholders to contact their brokers and ask that their shares be removed from accounts accessible to short sellers. <<<<<< So we admit to accounting problems, it appears we are a POS stock, but please call in your certs so we can stop the short sellers and let our friends dump their stock and let you wall paper your home office with our worthless paper! LOL, maybe I have it all wrong. I don't know. Just speculating here that the stock is doomed. I haven't watched it in a number of months.
