I have no idea how we got here. The sister confirms the basic story that Clinton hit on Paula, asking her, in an inappropriate circumstance, for oral sex, and that Paula refused. Her only objection is the Paula didn't seem upset at the time, although, of course, some people are confused and ambivalent at the time, and settle into being offended later. Besides, Paula's reaction at the time does not bear on the question of whether she suffered at work for her refusal, which remained an open question. Since any kind of favoritism shown to those who "performed" for the governor, at the expense of those who did not, would have sufficed for her case, one can only say that he was likely on thin ice.........
