I don't know why you continue to call the 1 GHz mobile Pentium III "semi-mobile," since it is higher performance than Duron when the laptop is plugged-in, yet consumes much less power than Duron when the laptop is unplugged. Sure, Duron might perform a little better unplugged, but that won't matter if you don't have enough juice in your battery.

That's a good start IMO.

Perhaps you ought to wait until mobile Palomino is out in stores before going into your AMDroid mode again.

I am just trying to generate some FUD prior to arrival of Palomino and Morgan. <g>

Joe

PS: Don't forget Morgan, since it will have even lower power consumption than Palomino, and higher performance than Celeron.

Tenchusatsu,

I don't know why you continue to call the 1 GHz mobile Pentium III "semi-mobile,"

Because when it is running at 1 GHz consuming 36 Watts of power, it is hard to call it a mobile, and when it is running at 700 MHz on battery, it is hard to call it 1 GHz.
