What does some righteous right rant about the human genome project have to do with anything? That some hack political writer thinks he's found some fundamental flaw in evolution and molecular biology doesn't make it so. I imagine Bethell's depth of knowledge in the biological field is about equal to that of your average "intelligent design" theorist.

As for Rand and Jesus, I don't really have a problem with either of them. I'm a lot more comfortable with Libertarians than I am with the righteous right, and my problem with Jesus has a more to do with His interpretation via the "Christian Nation" branch of the righteous right rather than His own teachings. But, Rand was quite the bracing atheist in her time, which seems to present a rather deep chasm between the true blue Randoid and the "Christian Nation" crowd.
