notice you *must* account for volume. price * volume provides accurate weighting.

the volume from $20 and up until now is *much* greater than all prior purchases at lower prices.

the average price for former is about $50. for the latter is about $6.

let's say (60% * $50) + (40% * $6) = $37.5 average purchase price.

$18.5 / $37.5 = about 50% left = about 50% loss.

you don't hear this on cnbs. it is one reason i don't like bubbles and it is why many folks are *hurt* badly.

the touters just say csco is up nearly 100 times from its ipo to prove how good the market is...
