Yes, Rose -- I recall those times very clearly as well ... The point was to 'question' why Voltaire and others seemed to be permitted to display misogynistic 'points of view' ... with not only 'acceptance,' but 'encouragement.' And full support, tacitly at least, by SI Administration. I do see that 'comments' from the JW poster -- let's see, how many aliases has this one? -- have been deleted today from the MODERATED (in all caps for the vision-impaired -- <g>) "Porch." I just finished looking at the 'astrologer' / financial analyst or whatever the hell he is -- Arch Crawford -- website. Pretty funny stuff ... reminds me of others 'selling' angelic advice, etc....
