me too, softie. he was always good for a reality check after a day like this. this market action is really scary considering the underlying fundamentals, but traders have to go with the flow. logic has nothing to do with stock prices, so why fight it. :-)

LU break-out on news optics groups worth 2 billion more than worst-feared. Still has troubles but that plus modest recovery and lower rates gets it out of debt fast. Might sell in the $12 area. Too bad I didn't buy more. LOR is my dog pick now plus NOVL. WCOM my big tech buy today. Sold EMC too soon but I'd buy it back if it falls back 4-5 points. All in all a good day. Just waiting for telcos to get more of a push now that the computer sector led the way.
