The focus is concentrated on CO2 because that is by far the predominant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. Also, it's somewhat contradictory to, on the one hand, say "the science is uncertain, let's do nothing", and at the same time pin a lot of hopes on one alternative, undeveloped theory that has nowhere near the same amount of research behind it. Of course, the tactic of picking up on minor differences among scientists to allegedly discredit a broadly accepted theory is quite common on the "intelligent design" front. I guess the right does actually have some form of consistency in its "science".
