I own a couple of thousand call options on V from months ago. They evapourated over the last months and today they were starting to perc and I was trying to assess Vivendis (V) buy/sell bias.
Anyhow, I saw 100,000 share bid go by and was hoping someone (you) could tell me what they saw on the depth for that bid..meaning was it one buyer for 100k or was it several smaller buyers. I couldn't get the info on my system quickly. Guess I obviously didn't explain myself clearly nor portray my urgent need clearly.
End of long story... in turmoil I held to close and fortunately (perhaps) stock closed near HOD.

Moufassa, I believe Condor is talking about this post:
Message 15688974 . . .to which you answered: Message 15689043

From the sound of the question, I would think he is asking about the 100k bid on Vivendi and whether you could see how many different bids make up the 100k. I know my service would not show the answer to that question. . . .not sure if anyone's here would. Nasdaq gives us just enough quote information for us to hang ourselves. . . but not enough to take away risk from our trade. By keeping individual investors in the dark concerning such real-time data as current short-interest, whether a bid is real or a spoof, whether trades are long or short, current bids or asks which are above or below current B/A. . . . .etc, etc, they keep trading more like gambling. . . since we must guess these important factors.
