Reagan taught a new generation of right-wingers how to make fun of environmental destruction. Remember cow's farts hurt the ozone latyer more than polluting plants and emissions? That got a good laugh at the right-wingers conventions. Bush re-layed it making fun of Gore's concern that we get off oil dependency and use more alternative energies. And unfortunately it worked. Some machos are real idiots. Now they wish they had photo-voltaic panels on their rooves. They'd be saving a ton of money. Of course Bush will crush all alternative fuel programs. The process is already underway. He resally does prefer polution (er profits for his gang). Or maybe it's Cheney running things. Maybe Bush doesn't have a clue.
