OT - Unfortunately, not all brokers offer after-hours trading, and many that do don't offer much if any variety in the way of routes - if there isn't liquidity in their selected order route, you are hosed.

For example, my broker only offers after-hours trading through Instinet.

I've found that you are almost always better-off closing-out a trade that has gone against you after-hours, after-hours, rather than waiting until morning, at least in large-cap stocks. (With smaller-cap stocks, it's often better to wait, because the lack of liquidity in after-hours can cause a big over-reaction.)

That's why I kicked myself for doing the exercise-sell bit on my 22 1/2 calls the other day. I had a darn nice profit - 80% on a position held for 2 hours (from a hour before the close to an hour after the close - and accidental too - I didn't know they were reporting earnings, or I would never have done it, LOL!) But I left half the profit on the table by not holding the calls over night. But expiring calls get me REAL nervous! Since the trade went in my favor, I should have left it over-night, expecting that after-hours would only be part of the move.

I'd cover those 4000 after-hours if I were kapkan4u. He still has an hour left for Island and two hours for REDI, if he has those routes available to him. And I think an hour more for ARCA as well. There's 5000 offered on ARCA for $33.40.
