Jimbo-- No I was not short. I rarely short anything and only for a day trade. I eased back in and will now wait until next week as we should see a pull back by then. I sold some recent purchases like intc, ibm, and a little mntg. I did not buy any boxmakers but certainly wish I had loaded with DELL when it was in the toilet. Actually a little cpq in the 17 range would have been nice too. Sold 1/2 of msft way too early (57) and look to bail the rest tomorrow. May even add a tad before the open and hope for a point or 2 on that. Conservative now--- looks like the mkts have some legs-- need to see where it pulls back to as still holding a lg % of cash.
